But being only limited to wear the colors of the American flag, red, white and blue, can be a bit boring because there are just so many combinations you could wear. However, this is not the case at all for this season’s Memorial Day fashion.

It’s the 21st century where people are fashionably challenging the fashion police. So don’t let the three-color limitation limit your uniqueness and creativity. In fact, the trends of this season’s Memorial Day outfits are all about high fashion. No longer do we have to wear outright American flags from our head to toes. Now you can mix and match couture with vintage pieces to really represent America and your style.

Looking through the web for Memorial Day fashion, the prominent trends include red and white striped skirts with a white or blue top. This look is gorgeous, American and high fashion. We live in an awesome country where self-expression is encouraged. So why not embrace our American pride by showing off those privilege this Memorial Day by incorporating the colors of the flag not wearing the actual flag. I would suggest choosing your favorite outfit and seeing if you have the colors of the flag in that particular same design. Why don’t we represent America not wear it? Don’t give up your style just so you can look like a flag because that’s not what America is about. Trends and styles are constantly changing but the colors of Memorial Day will always stay a tradition.
