GLAM MASTERS – a new Fox Television show based on make-up artistry with Executive Producer KIM KARDASHIAN and actress LAVERNE COX (Orange Is The New Black) serving as a judge, is on deck and about to be launched soon. The winner of the competition will get a chance to work directly with Kim on her make-up projects. Heard that there is a Laverne Cox Barbie Doll also in the works.
EVERYHUE – Real Housewives of Potomac star GIZELLE BRYANT has launched her new make-up line. EVERYHUE is now available online and will be available in all TARGET stores on May 20th. EveryHue Beauty, distributed through Target, covers medium to deep skin tones in 12 different hues of friendly shades. The line includes; Tinted luminous moisturizers, pressed setting powder, concealer corrector duo, all day setting spray and the special Go to Glow Trio. EveryHue comes at a time when Target is creating a huge expansion project, as part of their new initiative to further diversify their beauty aisles, which include bringing on eight brands, that focus on designing products of color. EveryHue Beauty is leading the force to make diversity happen in the beauty arena.
RELATED GARMENTS – LUKA SABBAT, the gorgeous star of TV’s “Grown-ish” who is also a model, fashion influencer, and front row staple has teamed up with his father designer CLARK SABBAT to create an exciting line of men’s underwear – boxer-briefs and tri-colored socks with the word `Revolution’ included in the design. Proceeds from the line goes to Related Garments, a company that benefits educational organizations in Haiti, the country of his father’s birth. Luka also visited Haiti for the first time. His dad Clark visits every year and wanted Luka to see the place of his roots, which he totally enjoyed being emersed in the culture and colorful lifestyle. He even included the colors of the Haitian flag in his designs. Luka told vogue.com; “The project was a powerful way to help, to go back and see where my family comes from and who he (my father) is, and also to actually give back in a meaningful way.” Haitian Education Leadership Program (HELP) is the charitable organization that will benefit from the proceeds of the collection – they provide merit-and-need based scholarships for children.
CHANEL IMAN – a top New York model and `Face’ of several campaigns, including Victoria’s Secret, exchanged marriage vows with New York Giants Wide Receiver STERLING SHEPARD 25, on March 3rd in Los Angeles, California. The beautiful supermodel is 27 years-old.
PADMA FOR M.A.C – In more make-up news, `Top Chef’ TV show host and judge, former model PADMA LAKSHMI just launched a new makeup line in partnership with M.A.C. Padma said her make-up line has been years in the making. She actually started her research back when she was a model and there was never foundation and other items in her darker skin-tone, so she started to mix and match to create a suitable color palette for her. Now, Padma has partnered with M.A.C. one of the world’s largest make-up companies.
