Holiday Cheer Comes Early at the Meatpacking District Annual

‘Very Merry Holiday Hours’ on Wednesday, Dec. 5

Shoppers can get a head start on purchasing gifts for friends and family with the neighborhood’s unprecedented discounts at their favorite stores for one night only

 

NEW YORK – (Nov. 13, 2018) – Kick off the holiday shopping season at the Meatpacking District’s Very Merry Holiday Hours with 30 local businesses and retailers as they keep their doors open late to offer exclusive discounts and experiences. For one night only on Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 6 – 9 p.m., shoppers will delight in discounts up to 30 percent off, sip on complimentary beverages, and enjoy delicious snacks.

 

Open to the public, shoppers will revel in the joyous atmosphere and holiday cheer while roaming the neighborhood’s shops and boutiques looking for the perfect gift. Participating retailers will have a variety of fun experiences in addition to the discounts, including on-site monogramming, tablescape workshops, free gift wrapping, and behind-the-scenes tours. Activations include:

 

    • DIY holiday gift bags at Paper Source

 

    • ARHAUS FURNITURE’s in-house designer, Joisane Raphael, will offer a seminar on how to create a holiday tablescape

 

    • Complimentary gift wrapping and hot chocolate with flavored mini marshmallows by Sherry B Dessert Studio at Gansevoort Meatpacking

 

    • Workshop tour on the process of working with high-karat gold and precious stones at Reinstein/Ross, Goldsmiths
    • Curated Basics founder, Andrew, will offer complimentary onsite custom gold foil initials on any leather goods from his booth at Artists & Flea’s

 

    • Customization, embroidery and monogramming at Diane von Furstenberg

 

    • Sephora Beauty Insider members will receive a digital gift card for Very Merry Holiday Hours; guests can create a customized sample bag in addition to participating in a $500 raffle

 

    • Complimentary monogramming with purchase at Eberjey
