Rufat Ismayil, the designer of Afffair, debuted his Spring/Summer 2019 Power of Fire collection at New York’s Fashion Week.
It was sparkle abound with electrifying shades of gold, emerald, and vivid blue denim. Party dresses bursting down the runway boasted short skirts of shimmering gold metal.
If you like skin, black floor-sweeping evening gowns followed with flesh-baring cut-outs showcasing long toned legs with super high-thigh slits. Models exuded strength in dramatic silk gowns with fluid cape-like skirts.
Born in 1981 in Baku, Azerbaijan, Ismayil paid homage to his home country. The theme “Fashion Beyond Continents, the Land of Fire” introduced America to a powerful haute couture collection.
