THE BLUE JACKET FASHION SHOW
For the past four years `THE BLUE JACKET FASHION SHOW,’ has successfully paired some notable male luminaries from the world’s of sports, medicine, fashion, and entertainment, with the top menswear designers for a lavish runway show, to bring awareness to prostate cancer. Fashion designer Frederick Anderson who founded The Blue Jacket Fashion Show along with Laura Miller, partnered with The Prostate Cancer Foundation, said that the Foundation is an awareness campaign that openly discusses men’s health, with a focus on prostate cancer. “Our goal is to educate men and their families on early detection, risk factors and the importance of early treatment.”
Fashion icon Andre Leon Tally served as the show’s MC/Host and introduced each model and their partnered designer from a huge throne at the top of the runway. He was decked out in a voluminous caftan by legendary Harlem designer Dapper Dan.

Broadway star (American Utopia) DAVID BYRNE opened the show wearing a custom made blue suit by MARTIN GREENFIELD CLOTHIERS. Music Producer and host of The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1, DJ ENVY graced the runway wearing a glittering ensemble from ARJONA COLLECTION. Chicago Bears Cornerback BUSTER SKRINE modeled a TOMMY HILFIGER creation. Then came CARSON KRESSLEY, TV Personality, currently a judge on Ru Paul’s Drage Race, and `Get A Room,’ who lit up the runway wearing a MICHAEL KORS creation.
DR MIKE, a family medicine Doctor and health Influencer was a popular model wearing a JOHN VARVATOS creation. Actor JEREMY CARVER, known for his role in ‘Empire’ as a young Lucious Lyons, was stunning in an all-blue suit, from designer DUCKIE BROWN. RODNEY GILLESPIE, VP of Sales & Marketing, Solid Tumor at Janssen Oncology (official health sponsor of the show) rocked the runway in head-to-toe HICKEY FREEMAN. Renowned male model ALEX LUNDQVIST walked the runway wearing a sea blue silk STEPHEN-F suit, while JUAN BOLLINI – US Polo Player and Brand Ambassador for the US Polo Association (a Presenting Sponsor of The Blue Jacket Fashion Show) modeled a Polo outfit from the US POLO ASS COLLECTION.

NIGEL BARKER noted fashion photographer, TV Personality and philanthropist modeled a LEVI’S denim jacket, he was followed down the runway by popular Fashion Director, commentator and Bon-Vivant SIMON DOONAN wearing THOM BROWNE. YOUNG PARIS the up and coming Recording artist is known for redefining EDM with his Afrobeats modeled HUGO BOSS. New York Fox-5 Weatherman MIKE WOODS who is a Prostate cancer survivor was dressed by KENNETH COLE. Radio legend and host of The Morning Show on Z-100 and creator of the legendary `Jingle Ball’ ELVIS DURAN modeled a BROOKS BROTHERS ensemble, he followed the all-muscles, fitness guru and creator of PRX Fitness YUSEF MYERS modeling a fur coat by SON JUNG WAN which was shed to reveal the “Body of Fashion Week.” DR. MEHMET OZ host of `The Dr. Oz Show’ drew loud applause as he came down the runway wearing an all-blue suit from BRUNO MAGLI and the leading voice for Climate Change, educator, author and known to millions as `The Science Guy’ BILL NYE closed out the show wearing a dapper outfit by NICHOLAS GRAHAM
