NAOMI CAMPBELL IS NEW GLOBAL FACE FOR THE “DIVINE ROSE” COLLECTION

You know the saying “The light at the end of the tunnel,” well, that totally applies to the dazzling glow that the fashion and beauty industry is being greeted with, as two of the world’s iconic beauty professionals come together for a stunning, new venture. Legendary beauty and top model NAOMI CAMPBELL just announced via her Instagram, that she is the new Global Spokesperson and `Face’ of British/Jamaican Make-up Queen, PAT GARTH’S new “Divine Rose” make-up collection.

Pat is my chosen family and an undeniable creative force in the beauty business who has been in my life since the early stages of my career. Pat has created a line that brings fantasy and glamour back into our daily lives and makes us dream again. They have been friends for some 25 years and have worked together on numerous projects. They’ve also collaborated online for Pat McGrath’s free, digital Make-up “Masterclasses” on Zoom. “I want to see a person of color at the top,” said Naomi about brand founder Pat McGrath.

THE COLLECTION

The “Divine Rose” collection from Pat McGrath Labs is comprised of; two eye palettes, two lip glosses, two lipsticks, and two lip pencils. The dazzling global campaign feature Naomi in all her `Goddess’ splendor, flavored in gold and framed in a halo of pink roses, she gives you a golden glow of energy and richness. A gold crown morphs into a spectacular golden headdress, as the eyes reveal a spring of gold liquid. Apart from the stunning imagery, the campaign featured a related film directed by McGrath to commemorate the new ‘Divine Rose’ collection.

The Pat McGrath brand increased during the coronavirus pandemic with massive digital outreach. Naomi has been a guest on Pat’s several Instagram Lives, with a big group of influencers numbering some 115,000 views per session. Naomi has also gained more popularity in the digital space with her own YouTube channel, plus her daily; “At homework out’s with Naomi” gave a glimpse of Naomi at home in New York during the quarantine. In essence, Naomi and Pat are a match made in heaven. Born in London to Jamaican parents, with a blossoming career that spans some 25 years in the industry, Pat McGrath has been the “go-to” person for major designers across the global arena including Marc Jacobs, Valentino, Armani, Donnatella Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Alexander McQueen among them. She is the premier make-up artist in the fashion and beauty industry. With Pat McGrath Labs she launched her first core collection. A consummate professional, revered and touted by the best in the fashion and beauty industry, In 2017, Pat was presented with the prestigious “Founders Award in honor of Eleanor Lambert” at the CFDA Award ceremony in New York City. She’s launched six limited run products from her exclusive and “totally” exclusive brand. There was the sneak peek during one season at the Paris Fashion Weeks shows. At the Prada show that season, her first product “Gold 001” came out. Pat, a true Visionaire was always ahead of the curve. Pat McGrath has been experimenting with the whole concept of gold, shine, and glitter for years. Even when she launched “Gold 001” in 2015 it was noted that a guided cosmetics appeared to be a highly pigmented sparkling powder which can be used anywhere on the face. It can be used on lips, eyes, anywhere on the fact that you may want to look “precious.” Pat has been working the idea of gold make-up for over a decade – There was the `Stars Wars Collection,’ `Cover Girl X Star Wars’ and  `Cover Girl Gold Lipstick.’  For that specific launch, Pat revealed in a press release – `Gold 001 is a revolutionary formula. There is something magnificent about it’s a pure form that leaves me breathless.’ She also used it along with some 3D effects on a photo shoot with Kim K as a modern-day Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra for a magazine shoot. Actress Lupita Nyong’o Golden Girl cover of Vogue magazine in a warm metallic hued Valentino couture dress was all of Pat McGrath’s gold make-up with berry lips.
