KYLE RICHARDS star of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is known for wearing her own uniquely styled Kaftans and flowing silk ensembles on and off the show. SHAHIDA COLLECTION 1″ The duo launched their collection during New York Fashion Week, to an SRO audience gathered at Chelsea Studios, Pier 59, downtown New York.
Among the cast of models were Kyle’s fellow `Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ stars; Denise Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi, Faye Resnick, Dorit Kemsley, Sophia Umansky, and Teddi Mellencamp. Singer Caroline Neron and Influencer Claudia Sampedro joined the model line-up.
In a lavish parade of lush garments that ran the gamut from flirty samba skirts and frilly blouses to flower print dresses and easy silk trousers, Kyle and Shahida presented a collection of sensible, wearable clothes that can be labeled as `casual elegance.’ It was vacation time, cruise wear, resort wear, relaxed and comfort all wrapped into one big runway celebration. The designers’ love for prints was obvious, as they flooded the runway with unique Nautical prints, Heron prints and Aztek gold prints which they balanced with bold florals in a variety of options on pants, dusters, dresses, blouses and lounging attire.
A mint leaf print duster, with a burgundy mesh bodysuit, was shown with black vegan leather pants. Lisa Rinna dominated the catwalk, modeling a flowing Aztek print duster over a black body-suit. Meanwhile, Erika Girardi modeled a Nautical print tunic over viscose silk palazzo pants. A mint and orange duster with rhinestone appliques was paired with a royal blue romper. Another standout was the ombre tropical print duster with rhinestone motif and a mesh bodysuit – all over orange palazzo pants.
