The recently concluded 63rd annual Grammy Awards red carpet didn’t have the razzle-dazzle of fashion as we know it to have. But, regardless, some of the stars showed up and showed off, giving us some memorable fashion moments. Stars of the music world took that extra step to give viewers a plethora of looks crafted by their designers and stylists. The music industry’s best turned up on this platform, using it like a runway to showcase the designer’s latest creations. This proved to be a perfect conduit, since the regular runway fashion shows as we know them, are non-existent, due to the covid 19 pandemic.
BEYONCE SLAYED
Leading the cadre of fashionistas in focus, was a 28 time Grammy winner and Grammy record-breaker, the one and only BEYONCE in black SCHIAPARELLI. She later changed into a dazzling silver ensemble for the after-party. The all jeweled headpiece, face mask, earrings, and gown were reportedly all dripping in 50 Carats of LORRAINE SCHWARTZ jewelry. BEYONCE led the way for newcomers like MEGAN THEE STALLION in an orange gown with a thigh-high split, long train and huge ‘back bow’ by DOLCE and GABBANA; DUA LIPA wore a fitted, sheer jeweled VERSACE gown; DOJA CAT rocked a black and yellow ensemble festooned with bold yellow feathers that flowed from the skirt into a long train.

SKELETON THOM
Veteran performer and Grammy winner TAYLOR SWIFT chose a multi-colored, floral OSCAR DE LA RENTA cocktail mini dress, as LIZZO wore a fitted silver BALMAIN dress. But it was the band of newcomers that set off the fashion buzz, like NOAH CYRUS wearing a halo of off-white that towered over and around her head in a bubbling poof – a creation from the SCHIAPARELLI HAUTE COUTURE collection. PHOEBE BRIDGES came in a dramatic black gown with a white life-sized skeleton, embroidered on the front – a creation by designer THOM BROWNE.

GUCCI
INGRID ANDRESS wore a white tailored ARMANI PRIVE trouser suit. H.E.R. accepted her Grammy in a long Indian tunic in burgundy, over contrasting trousers with jeweled borders; BILLIE EILISH wore a pastel print GUCCI pantsuit and Black female country star MICKEY GUYTON appeared in a sequined sheath with a billowing chiffon overlay, all by VALENTINO.
