When it comes to fashion shows, most people can name the large ones that take place in locations like Milan, Italy, Paris, France, and London, England. However, there are a number of shows that take place in the United States. Some of these top fashion shows in New York is well known and draw in a number of famous designers. Others, like top fashion shows Las Vegas, are just as important, although they receive a little less international attention. No matter what, these top ten should be on the lists of fledgling designers and established veterans.

FASHION TRADE SHOWS IN NEW YORK AND LAS VEGAS1) New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week aka NYFW is Held in February and September of each year, it is a semi-annual series of events (generally lasting 7–9 days) when international fashion collections are shown to buyers, the press, and the general public. It is one of four major fashion weeks in the world, collectively known as the “Big 4,” along with those in Paris, London, and Milan. The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) created the modern notion of a centralized “New York Fashion Week

You’ll find that the designers who are showcased here are either industry veterans, new to the business, or somewhere in between

Moda is a show that is for designers of both contemporary and modern clothing that falls into the women’s ready to wear category. Of course, Las Vegas is the place to go to find unusual accessories, quirky clothing, and numerous lifestyle items, all designed for both men and women. Unlike other top fashion shows Las Vegas, this one prides itself on having a little bit of everything all under one roof. You’ll find things like stationery items, clothing, accessories, lifestyle items, home goods and more, all designed specifically for buyers who run and represent small boutiques nationwide. On top of this, the show is juried, so all participating designers are in the running for an award.

 

9) Children’s Club in New York

One of the top fashion shows New York for children’s clothing, this exhibition features many well-known and up and coming labels from around the country. As the name implies, you’ll find nothing but clothing for children here. The age and size range of these wares stretches from newborn sizing to age 12, and clothes, accessories, and shoes for both genders can be found, plus toys, gifts, and other child necessities will be featured as well. This show brings in buyers from specialty boutiques as well as larger well-known retailers.

 

19) Stitch at Project Women’s in Las Vegas

Among the many fashion shows, Las Vegas is Stitch and Project Women’s. This fashion trade show features ready to wear clothing, accessories, and shoes that fall into numerous categories. Attendees will see sportswear, athleisure, and contemporary clothing made by international designers. Each designer is carefully selected, ensuring that you’ll only see items made by the best names in women’s ready to wear.
